One BIG Dance Floor!

These are a couple of photos from a corporate awards dinner I did for Experian at the Hyatt Manchester. The award took place on one end of the room and then off to the other end for dancing...it was one big floor but with 800 guests we needed it!

Alex & Nicole say I Do at the Prado!

I have some of my best receptions at the Prado and Alex & Nicole's was no exception. They had a beautiful ceremony down in the garden and then cocktails and the reception in the Loggia. I loved their first dance choice "God Only Knows" by the Beach Boys, an all time classic. The bride was a big fan of Willie Colon so we had a little salsa added to the music mix for the night. There were a total of 47 guests and I think most of them were on the dance floor the majority of the evening. It was a 10 on the reception scale, great couple with a great family and friends!

"Thank you so much for everything that you did leading up to and during our wedding. You're a true professional and it really showed! We received so many compliments after the wedding on the selection/variety of music and your ability to keep the party going. It really was an absolute perfect day for us and one we'll never forget!"
Sincerely - Alex & Nicole Holtet

Sing A Long at the Dana!

We had a full house of over 275 friends and family at the Dana for David and Rowena's Celebration. It was a great night of non stop fun and one of the highlights was when all the single guys serenaded Rowena before the Garter with 'You've lost that loving feeling"! In the bottom photo you can see the impact that uplighting can have at reception, it's a great way to add ambiance. Angie and the team at the Dana did a great job as always.

Brian & Lindsay light up the Prado!

Brian and Lindsay chose the Prado as the site for their ceremony and reception and as I've said before it is one of my favorite spots. The weather was perfect and the reception was a blast. Most of the guests were in from out of town, the newlyweds went to school in San Diego but now call Washington D.C. home. I'm not usually big on gimmicks but Lindsay picked up about 200 LED rings and little clip on LED's and the flower girls passed them out once the dancing started. The guests loved them and I've got to admit they looked great...really lit up the night! Susanne Duffy was the coordinator and Jennifer Dery was the photographer, two pros that are great to work with.

Hi Mike,
I want to thank you for being a part of our day and really helping to make it so much fun! Everyone has been telling us what a great time they had and I know that is largely in part to you! My father had always wanted to have a band play at our wedding and I was really worried about how he was going to feel about us going with a dj, but I gotta tell you, the next morning the first thing he said was how great he thought you were!!!
Thank you so much! We had such a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maria & Mauricio, what a Celebration!

You put a huge Italian family with a huge Latino family and you are going to have a party and Maria and Mauricio's reception was no exception. It was a night of celebration from the moment the doors opened. The room looked amazing, Entertainment at Large handled the lighting and Ana from Floralworks did an awesome job with the florals and the rest of the decor. Laura Rizzo was the coordinator and great to work with as always! Suavamente followed by Chella Luna were the musical hits of the night. For dinner the guests had a choice of Steak and Lobster or Chilean Sea Bass...what a meal!
