Matteo & Elyse - The Darlington House

A big Italian wedding...what's not to like...We/They/I had a blast!! The Darlington house was the setting for the ceremony and reception and they couldn't have had a nicer day. Matteo's brother who is a Franciscan Monk came over from Italy and performed the ceremony, it was amazing. For an Italian wedding an Italian caterer is a must and Giuseppe's put together a wonderful feast. Jennifer Cole did a beautiful job on the florals as usual and Emilie at the Darlington House is a sweetheart to work with!

Thanks for everything Mike! You did an amazing job! We absolutely love the card and the pictures, that was very sweet. Thank you again so much. Sincerly - Elyse & Matteo

Ross & Jaclyn - The Bristol Court

Dancing under the stars is always fun and for Ross & Jaclyn's reception we had a full moon as a bonus. To my knowledge the Bristol Court is the only hotel in town that has a roof that slides completely open and that makes for a great dance environment. Jaclyn loves candy and used suckers with the guests name on them for place cards, the guests ate it up! We had a chocolate fountain instead of a cake and Georgie from Chocolate Haven did an awesome job with that. It was a great night for all!!

Dear Mike - Our wedding reception was perfection, thank you for serving as an awesome DJ! Our guests had a fantastic time & you did an excellent job getting everyone to participate in the party...best wishes to you in the future! - Jaclyn & Ross Garing

Ana & Damien - The Crowne Plaza

I am blessed with fun couples and great guests and Ana and Damien are no exception. A great stress free ceremony and reception that the newlyweds enjoyed from start to finish. The pictures above tell the story! I hadn't worked at the Crown Plaza since it was the Hanalei and the food and service was excellent!

CJ & Mary - Los Willows Fallbrook

It had been a year or two since I last worked at Los Willows and it's come a long way. It's a beautiful spot and for the ceremony the bride arrives via a pontoon boat, what an entrance. CJ and Mary's wedding was great fun and and the guests were a dancing crowd. The newlyweds first dance is a favorite of mine..."If This World Were Mine" by Marvin Gaye. A great way to start a party!

Marty and Sara - The C.C. of Rancho Bernardo

I am in the midst of wedding season and between that and the donut venture I'll have to keep the posts short. This was an awesome reception with a great couple and two fun families. Non stop party from start to finish, we had a full dance floor to everything from a Tarantella to Salsa, Old School to Classic Rock! A great team helps make for a stress free wedding and Marty and Sara put together a good one... Brant Bender was the photographer, Kailyn Meyers did the coordinating and Jennifer Cole did a beautiful job on the flowers!

Party Donuts at the Hyatt!

I've got a new enterprise up and running and it is tasty! One of the hottest things going for corporate events and weddings are gourmet mini deserts and if it's made right on site it doesn't get any better. My first event was at the Hyatt Manchester for 11oo guests from Intel. We had the mini donuts in a bag with a dusting of powdered sugar and Cinnamon and they ate em up! Take a look at the Party Donuts website if you want something warm, tasty and fun for your reception!

Chris & Allison - The La Valencia Resort

I love working the La Valencia, the food, service and ambiance is as good as it gets! Cocktails took place poolside and I put together a little Tommy Bahama mix for background, the guests loved it. Chris and Allison (mostly Allison) did a great job of putting the reception together and it was a fun stress free night! I got to work with one of my favorite photographers as well, Stephanie Sundell, take a look at her website...REMEMBER...don't go budget on the photography or the entertainment!!

Rachel and Eric - The Rancho Bernardo Inn

Rachel and Eric's reception was in the newly re-modeled Santiago room at the beautiful Rancho Bernardo Inn. The Inn did a fantastic job with the renovation and by the time Sharon and her Organic Elements team got done with the florals and Entertainment at Large added a little uplighting the room simply looked stunning! It was a great mix of guests from all over the country and a fine time was had by all, it appeared Rachel and Eric had a blast as well. The hit of the night was Uncle Frank from N.Y. singing a couple of Sinatra tunes after dinner, this guy had a set of pipes! Food and service at the RBI as always was excellent!!

Andre and Katy Celebrate at Lomas Santa Fe!

Another great reception at one of my favorite venues. Lomas Santa Fe C.C. is open to non members for wedding receptions. They do a great job at "believe it or not", reasonable prices!
Katy and Andre were a wonderful couple to work with, their main goal was a fun, stress free reception and that they had!

Hi DJ Mike!
I hope all is well with you in San Diego! I just wanted to send an e-mail thanking you for doing such an awesome job at our wedding! The ceremony and reception music was perfect and you got all our guests dancing. Thank you for incorporating my Hawaiian music selections with Andre's salsa/Colombian dance music. It was a true blend of both our personalities. You also did a fantastic job as MC by keeping the flow moving all evening.
Thank you again for making our wedding such a special (and fun) event! You made it so that Andre and I could enjoy every minute of it without worry!
Sincerely - Katy Johnson and Andre Bataller
