Don & Cristina - The Rancho Bernardo Inn

I was back at the Rancho Bernardo Inn for Don and Cristina's celebration and it was another great one. They were a fun couple and as you can see by the photos they really enjoyed the reception. I did some uplighting and the Santiago room looked amazing, we had a video montage as well and it was a big hit. They hired a great team for the event with Tami Austin as the coordinator, Heidi and Grant from Slice of Life Photography on the cameras and Bob Wright with Eagle Lion took care of the video. It all came together for a fun, stree free night!

Dear Mike,
Thank you so much for helping to make our wedding a wonderful and memorable occasion! We really appreciate the time you spent with us to select music for the ceremony and create a custom father - daughter dance mix. We had a wonderful time and our guest did too - thanks for keeping the dance floor lively the whole evening!
All the Best! -Cristina & Don Griffin

Everett & Jen - The Bahia Resort

Everett & Jen's celebration took place in the newly remodeled Mission Bay room at the Bahia Resort, the room looks great and the reception was a blast. The newlyweds had taken a few dance lessons and pulled off a choreographed first dance to perfection. I got to work with Terri Rippee again and she had some fun as the guests created custom best wishes cards for the bride and groom and then had their photo taken holding them up. Kind of hard to describe but they had a lot of fun!

Mike, we just got back from the honeymoon and had a fabulous time in Alaska and Canada. We also enjoyed all the memories of such a wonderful day, thanks to you. Thank you for your wonderful pictures - we loved them. We will be sending another Thank you in the mail, but just wanted to say how much we appreciated working with you, you made the wedding seamless. By the way, you have some cookies coming, do you like chocolate? Take care, Jen

Alex & Kira - The Admiral Kidd Club

With a group of almost 300 the upstairs at the Admiral Kidd Club was a perfect choice for Alex and Kira. The military bases quite often get knocked for the quality of the food but the Salmon I had that night was as good as I've had anywhere. I understand they've kicked it up a notch. It was a fun filled night for the newlyweds with a great video montage, cupcakes instead of cake and dancing for all. Entertainment at Large did a custom gobo for the dance floor and added a bit of up lighting for color, the room looked great. Nic from Tamarack Studios was the photographer, he was easy to work with and his website is impressive. Alex and Kira were a great couple and really enjoyed their reception!

Dear Mike - Thank you for your work as DJ/MC at our wedding! We had a blast and so did everyone else-it was just like we wanted it and we owe you a huge thank you. Please be sure to add us to your reference list, we will give you a glowing recommendation. Thank you so much for everything, we really appreciate it!
Sincerely - Kira and Alex

Renee & Matt - Paradise Point Resort

It's too hot to get married in Nevada this time of the year so Matt and Renee decided to wed in San Diego and brought a couple of hundred of their friends along for the fun! The food was outstanding and Katherine and her team from Paradise Point did a great job. This was a long one with the ceremony starting at 4 PM and the reception ending at Midnight...nobody left and the dance floor stayed full. To keep everybody going they had sliders and mini pizza's brought in about 11 PM, what a great idea!

Heather & Tom - The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe

The Inn is a classic location for wedding and Heather and Tom utilized all of it for their celebration. We started out on the main lawn with a beautiful ceremony and then it was poolside for cocktails. We moved to the Azalea lawn for the first dance, dinner and the video montage and wrapped up the evening with dancing in the Azalea Ballroom! A lot of planning went into making it all happen but they had a great team...Liz Dry took care of things at the Inn, Stacie Barba did a great job as coordinator, Joe Stein took amazing photos and Entertainment at Large handled the music and lighting. The newyleds looked like they enjoyed every minute of the celebration and the guests had a blast as well!!

Jim & Aurelia - A 4th of July Wedding Celebration!

A wedding on the 4th of July...why not! Jim and Aurelia have a beautiful home by Maderas and we had great views of both the Poway and Rancho Bernardo fireworks display. It was a wonderful reception full of dancing and a little karaoke as well. Along with the music I had the pleasure of doing the lighting, a Red, White and Blue color scheme was a natural. Rachel Burger of Bliss Events was the coordinator and did an awesome job of pulling it all together. The food was amazing with appetizers from Waters Fine Catering, dinner was handled by Phil's BBQ and Michele Coulon provided the incredible deserts! They were a great couple to work with and it was a fun night of family and friends!

July 4, 2008 - Jim & Aurelia Temenak - Private Home

Dear Mike, you came highly recommended by Rachel Burger, our event manager for our wedding and 4th of July celebration at our home. So, we expected the best. But you surpassed our expectations by far. Because of you, our event was not just a nice event, it was THE EVENT!! We have received so many raving comments about it that we thought we would let you know. As one of our guests, Otis (remember him? the one whose parents didn't spend a dime on his singing lessons) stated "why can't we find a DJ like this back in Virginia"? Well, he summed it up perfectly.

Thank you for being a key part of our special day and for making it even more memorable.
Aurelia & Jim

Bike Building at the Marriott!

This was a corporate team building event for Amylin, 65 bikes were assembled and donated to children from the Ronald McDonald house. What a great event!!

Milosh & Karen - The Rancho Bernardo Inn

I'm at the Inn a lot this year and that's just fine in my book...the venue is great and the food/service is always wonderful! Tricia was the coordinator at RBI and she is one of the best. Milosh is from Serbia and provided me with some traditional Serbian music to throw in the mix, they were fun, up tempo tunes and the guests loved it! I did some uplighting and spotted the cake as well and the room looked awesome. Karen and Milosh spent most of the night on the dance floor and a fine time was had by all!
