Jose & Rebecca - The Dana Resort

I love working with Angie and the team at the Dana Resort on Mission Bay. It's a great property with awesome food so it's a natural, Jose and Rebecca got the VIP treatment as Jose works there as well! The ballroom is one of my favorites and we added about 8 uplights and then pin spotted the cake, it looked wonderful. It was about a 6 hour reception but the dance floor was crowded most of the night. You can see by the photos the newlyweds really enjoyed their special day and I was happy to be a part of it!

Jerod & Lauren - The Grand Tradition

It was my first trip to the Grand Tradition this year and I forgot what an amazing venue it is. The new garden pavilion and ceremony site with all the waterfalls is absolutely stunning. White Wedding Day events handled the decor and the addition of the lounge furniture by the fireplace was a nice touch. The reception was flawless and Jerod and Lauren had an awesome time. They liked a little swing from time to time and again Michael Jackson was a big hit, he'll never go away!

An Early Halloween Party for the Military!

I took care of the music for an early Halloween Celebration that Lincoln Military Housing threw for some families...too much fun. Most of the guests were under 4 feet and they had a blast! San Diego Event Decor created a Halloween Hay Maze for the kids and Ohana Catering took care of the food.

Tom & Rosa - The Hotel Del Coronado

Tom and Rosa's celebration took place in the Coronet Room at the Del, what a beautiful room. It was a Sunday reception and they had me booked until 11 PM, a little later than normal for a Sunday but no problem for this crowd. They loved to dance and the last two hours were non stop party, 80's alternative and old school was the music in demand. They had a beautiful ceremony on the lawn and Rev Powers was the officiant, he married my wife and I and always does a great job...the photographers were Amy & Maurice from Theorie and they are always a pleasure to work with!

Joel & Krista - The Hotel Del Coronado

I had back to back receptions at the Del this weekend and you can't pick a better spot to spend some time. Joel and Krista's ceremony was on the lawn and the weather was amazing. The reception was an intimate one of close friends and family in the Garden Room. Kelly Aull from Mint Weddings was the coordinator and she always makes for a stress free reception. They were a really fun easy going couple who loved to dance, the night flew by!

Ferrari Heaven!

These photos are from a corporate event I did for PRA at the San Diego Automotive Museum in Balboa Park. They have a showing of Ferrari's there for the month and there are some incredible cars on display. The owner of the #22 car above turned down a 25 MILLION dollar offer for it the day before. The museum is a fun place to visit and a great event location!

Ryan and Morgan - The Hilton San Diego Resort

If your guest list is around 100 check out the Terraza Room at the Hilton San Diego Resort. It is an awesome property with great food and a wonderful team to work with. Ryan and Morgan had the ceremony at a church in RB and then on to the Hilton for dinner and dancing. The reception was beautiful and they had a great night!

Adrian & Randi Ann - The Bali Hai

This reception was about as wild as they get...the newlyweds came to have fun and so did their guests. It was a daytime reception but you'd never know by the dance floor, it was packed for about 3 solid hours and they were going wild the whole time. It started off on a neat note as well with Randi Ann arriving for the ceremony via a sailboat. What a great couple and a fun day!!

Mike, we just wanted to take a moment to thank you so very much for treating Adrian and I to such a wonderful, fun and easy flowing wedding day. We had a blast. Music was an important aspect to my wedding, for me, and I feel so blessed to have found you. there was music for every generation, that is exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. Tom & Dawn - The Rancho Bernardo Inn

What a beautiful reception this was, Tricia (with the RB Inn) is going to submit it to San Diego Style Weddings for consideration as a featured wedding. Haydee from Haydee's Creative Florals did an awesome job with the flowers, Entertainment At Large handled the lighting and Tricia and her team did an awesome job with the linens and layout. Brant Bender was the photographer and I know he got some great shots. This reception featured four great buffet stations with everything from Sushi to Pasta! The reception was a blast as well with a big contingent coming in from the east coast, the last song of the night was New York, New York and the photo above is a shot of the entire crowd on the dance floor singing along. I know Tom and Dawn had a great time and their guests did as well!
