Tim & Clara - The Hilton San Diego Bayfront

It had been awhile since I've had a reception booked until 2 AM, to be honest I thought no way..., I was wrong! Tim and Clara were prepared to dance the night away and the friends and family that gathered for the celebration felt the same way. The newlyweds first dance was to the "Hawaiian Wedding Song" and some of the the favorite table songs were One More Time by Daft Punk, Paper Planes by MIA and What I Like About You by the Romantics.

I got to work with one of my favorite photographers, Joseph Stein from Studio Paris and The Hilton San Diego Bayfront team did a nice job. Entertainment at Large provided the uplighting and custom gobo, the ballroom looked great in the warm amber tones.

"Gettin' Jiggy with It" by Will Smith was the newlyweds "Table Song"

Tim and Clara wrapping up the party at 1:55 AM with a little sing a long, they were a blast and I wish them all the best!

Dear Mike - We just wanted to send a note to thank you for the wonderful job you did for us on July 16th. You kept the party flowing and accomodated our every request. We could have danced till the sun came up and your song selections really let our true personalities shine. Thanks for your hard work in providing such a memorable night!
Cheers, Clara & Tim

Paul & Lisa - The Catamaran Resort

Paul and Lisa came in from Arizona and their goal was to have a celebration of life to acknowledge their marriage, I'm happy to announce "Mission Accomplished"!

It was an intimate gathering of close friend that came to join Paul and Lisa at The Catamaran Resort Hotel, both the ceremony and reception were held on the beach. The bride came down the aisle to "Into the Mystic" by Van Morrison and the newlyweds first dance was to "Color My World" by Chicago.

The guests loved to dance and we covered everything musically from Dion and the Belmonts to the Black Eyed Peas! It was a perfect night on the beach and thanks to the Catamaran Team for great food and service as always. Melissa Koehler Photography was a pleasure to work with as well. It was a wonderful experience working with Paul and Lisa and I wish them all the best!

Our Dear Friend…………….
The universe is amazing sometimes!  I had you on my mind all evening last night as I was reminiscing about our wedding and the essential part you played in making everything perfect for our special celebration. Without a wedding planner for our small, intimate affair, it was evident that without someone very special to bring it all together, this may be a very disjointed event indeed!   It goes without saying that YOU, the master of our ceremony, blended all of these needs and wishes into an evening that was exactly what we had envisioned!  Without you, this would not have been possible and I mean this with all of my heart.
Not that you ever need the recommendations as I know you are one popular D.J. but feel free to refer anyone to me who would like to hear about our experience.  You were not “just” a D.J. for us by any means but our wedding planner, support to me the weeks prior when I was one nervous bride to be, an emcee with a unique ability to “feel” people and the event, a professional in every sense of the word and for us, a very dear friend.

Blessings and peace,
Lisa

Grant & Jacki - The Sheraton Harbor Island

The photos say it all, Grant and Jacki had a fabulous celebration and they enjoyed the day to the fullest! Their first dance "I get a kick out of you" by Frank Sinatra started the night off perfectly.  We did a little 'Rat Pack' music mix for the cocktail hour and some dance favorites were Party Rock by LMFAO, Till the World Ends by Britney Spears and The Cupid Shuffle was a big hit as well.

The flow for  this reception was "East Coast" style with dance sets in between an amazing four course meal. The Sheraton Harbor Island always does an awesome job and I honestly think their food is some of the best in town, a special thanks to our captain Michele for all her help.

I had the pleasure of working with the team from Meurer Image Photography, a great choice by Grant and Jacki. Reverend Jerry Bryant performed the ceremony and Entertainment at Large took care of the lighting...best wishes to Grant and Jacki!

Dave and Jennifer - The Hotel Solamar

The rooftop of The Hotel Solamar is truly an unique experience and if you want a location that is a bit out of the box this is the place and it was perfect for Dave and Jennifer. It lends itself to a great party. We had a little Cuban Salsa for pre-ceremony music and Jennifer came down the aisle to "All I Want is You" by Tristan Prettyman.

The first dance selection "One Thing" by Finger Eleven and the dancing kicked in from there. Some of the hits were by Train, Billy Idol, Ke$ha and The Rolling Stones, it was a dancing crowd!

Thanks to ArtQuest Floral for a beautiful job on the florals and Elle G Photography, they were both great to work with! I heard the newlyweds had an amazing time on their Maui Honeymoon as well!!

Mark & Sheri - The Grand Del Mar

The Grand Del Mar is just an amazing place to host a celebration and Paige and the team there did another outstanding job for Mark & Sheri's celebration. The Manchester Salon was beautifully lit in Amber up lighting from Entertainment at Large and with the outstanding floral design by Untamed Floral it made a great setting.  A close group of friend and family enjoyed the newlyweds first dance to "Time after Time" by Etta James.

The ceremony and reception were perfectly coordinated by Sabrina with La Dolce Idea. The events flowed seamlessly and she was just awesome to work with! The photographer for the evening was Darryn St John and there were a lot of wonderful moments to capture. This group liked to dance and variety was the key. They loved everything from Santana and Earth Wind and Fire to tunes from the Black Eyed Peas and Katy Perry.

Mark and Sheri were a pleasure to work with and I wish them all the best!

Hi Mike,
Just got back from honeymoon last weekend.  Went to Canada and Switzerland and had a wonderful time – very hard to come back to reality.
I just wanted to send a quick note to thank you for the wonderful job you did.  Everything turned out great.   We should have left the music completely up to you – who knew our friends were so musically hip!!  J
Thanks again - Sheri
