This was a day to remember, it was the first time we've had rain in July in over
100 years, but Nathan & Tineka didn't let it dampen the celebration. They rented a tent
early and on we went. The FOB is a friend of mine and I was thrilled to be the DJ
for this reception. It was a full dance floor all night and the rain didn't slow things down a bit!!
Processional - Canon in D - Pachabel
First Dance - At Last (Performed live by the FOB and her cousin)
F/D Dance - The Way You Look Tonight - Frank Sinatra
Hits - Uptown Funk - Bruno Mars - Mark Ronston, Fireball - Pitbull, Sweet Caroline -
Neil Diamond, Jump Around - House of Pain, Cheerleader - OMI
Favorite Element - The Tent (With out it no wedding!)
Wholesale Flowers and Entertainment At Large
You
have a choice....you can fall into the syndrome and go with 'a friend who likes
to shoot photos' or hire a professional photographer.....if you haven't learned
this yet....you will.
The
same applies even more with a DJ - there are those who can spin music and
muddle through, hold up the flow of your most important day, or you get a
proven pro who will ensure there is magic and no flaws.
We
hired Mike cuz he's been around. As a professional working musician, I
was complaining (read jealous) of the $ these pro's get for their gigs....then
I attended some weddings and saw both the good and the bad, and Mike def made
my daughter's day special...and was worth the investment....the fact that it
was the first torrential rain in July in 140 years was another matter.....:)
