Brian & Chrissy - The Hilton Mission Bay Resort

Chrissy is one of my favorites in the business, she works with the events team on the Midway, Brian was great as well. They like to have fun!
First Dance - You and Me -  Dave Matthews
F/D and M/S - Candle in the Wind - Elton John
Hits - Party Rock - LMFAO, Sweet Home Alabama - Lynrd Skynrd, Boogie Shoes - KC and the Sunshine Band, Memories - David Guetta
Favorite Moment - Seeing Chrissy walking down the sand aisle with her dad for the ceremony.
Favorite Element - I love outdoor weddings and receptions with the guests in "Tommy Bahama" attire, it is San Diego!
Kudos - Jenny and the team at the Hilton Mission Bay, Entertainment At Large provided the lighting as well.

Josh & Cassie - The USS Midway

Two Midway weddings in one month, I love it! Josh and Cassie got married on the flight deck with an amazing view of San Diego in the background. After a hour up to for cocktails and appetizers it was down to the hanger bay to continue the celebration. The newlyweds kicked the evening off with a first dance to "Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton.

Elizabeth Giles with Maximum Capacity Events was our coordinator for the night and Meaghann Harbison with the Midway handled the ship details. Chef William and the team at Behind the Scenes Catering did an amazing job with the food. I also had the pleasure of working with Shane from Motzi Photography, Doug at Mneme Productions and Patricia Coleman was the officiant. Entertainment at Large provided the lighting.
One of my favorite moments of the night, Cassie had such a good arm the bouquet ended up wedged in the ceiling, quite a feat! No worries, we put together another bouquet and did it again.
It was a great dance crowd and Josh and Cassie were right in the middle of it most of the night. Some of the hits were - Moves Like Jaegar, Maron 5 - You Make Me Feel, Colbert Starship and PYT, Michael Jackson...it was a great celebration!

Hi Mike - It was great to work with you at Cassie and Josh's wedding last week.  You were a really great MC, which is all too often a rare quality to find in a good DJ!  Cassie and Josh had such a wonderful time, as did all the wedding guests, thanks in large part to your ability to choose the right tunes for every moment, and your outgoing demeanor behind the mic.  Thank you for making it so easy for me and all the guests to enjoy themselves.  The lighting was well placed and worked perfectly in the space - I hope to work with you again sometime!

Ben & Andrea - The USS Midway Museum

An aircraft carrier might not be every brides idea as to the perfect venue but it was Ben and Andrea's dream location. (and one of my all time favorite venues) Ben is a Marine aviator and Andrea is a Air Force physician, it was a perfect match.
The newlyweds first dance was "Then" by Brad Paisley. Some of the other favorites of the night were Yeah by Usher, Give Me Everything by Pitbull, Billie Jean by Michael Jackson and of course I'm on a boat by T-Pain. It was great to see the Hanger Bay rocking all night.
A venue like an aircraft carrier needs a great team and we had one. Kelly Aull with Mint Weddings and Aimee with the USS Midway kept the whole night flowing smoothly. LaVonne with Adoration's did an amazing job on the florals and I got to work with Boyd Harris as well, one of my favorite photographers. The food was delicious, a big thank you to the chef and Kimberly and her team from Crown Point Catering.
Cake did the cake and we got a bonus treat with Gourmet Mini Party Donuts from Sensational Treats, they are always a hit. Entertainment at Large provide the up lighting and the 42 foot white drape that served as a back drop to the celebration. Ben and Andrea are a special couple and I know they will share a great life together!

Fireworks, Sarah Palin and George W. Bush aboard the Midway!

I love the Midway, it is one of my all time favorite venues for an event! This was a fun one, we had Sarah Palin and George Bush impersonators and they were amazing. It was a corporate event and we finished the night on the flight deck with an awesome fireworks show...what a night!
