James & Natasha - The Lodge at Torrey Pines

You won't find a better venue than The Lodge at Torrey Pines. It is an amazing location with incredible views, food and service. It was perfect for James and Natasha's wedding celebration!
They also made a great choice in hiring Susanne Duffy with Crown Weddings as the coordinator, she put together a wonderful team and that always makes for a smooth night. Karen Tran did an incredible job with the florals, Bob with True Photography was the photographer and Side by Side took care of the video.
The couples first dance was to "Memories of Us" by Kieth Urban and the parents had a dance to "Your Song" by Elton John. Some other crowd favorites were I don't want to care right now - Lupe Fiasco, Born this way - Lady Gaga, You spin me round  - Dead or Alive and Give me everything - Pitbull.
The dinner portion of the evening was held in the Charles Reiffel room and then we moved into the Charles Fries room for the late night dancing. With the addition of a little white drape, uplighting and some lounge furniture Susanne gave it a nice contemporary club feel - it was perfect.
I love a happy bride - my best wishes to James and Natasha!!

Great job that night Mike....everything was PERFECT! Really enjoyed meeting and working with you. Your pictures are awesome too!
Thanks!
James

Regan and Kelly - The Lodge at Torrey Pines

Mr and Mrs Simmons

After a magnificent ceremony, the guests were lead to the Maurice Braun Ballroom at The Lodge at Torrey Pines. The ballroom had been decorated in an array of pastel flowers and had a vibrant energy that truly foreshadowed the night. After everyone had arrived, the Bridal party was introduced as "Bonnie and Clyde 2003" by Jay-Z and Beyonce was played for a grand entrance. As the newlyweds were announced for the first time as "Mr and Mrs Regan and Kelly Simmons", the guests couldn't help but stare as Kelly's strapless, floor length, elegant white dress glided across the floor. The couples entrance was breathtaking and as soon as they entered the ballroom you could feel the love and excitement of everything the night had in store.
The newlyweds first dance was truly an amazing sight to see. With a live performance by Nick Palance, the couple's first dance of their new life together was an extraordinary way to start off the night.
After the welcome toasts by the Father of the Bride, the Best Man, and the Maid of Honor, an incredible and delicious four course meal was served. Following dinner the new couple dedicated a special song to dance with their parents. The family danced to "God Only Knows" by the Beach Boys and overwhelmingly moved the guests with the love that filled the air. Just after the dance, the late night espresso EuroBar opened and everyone was invited out to the dance floor to celebrate the newlyweds. The guests danced the night away to some of their favorite hits like Sweet Caroline, Dynamite, and Jump.

The bride was surprised by introducing an old Irish tradition of serenading the bride before the garter is removed and tossed to the crowd. Kelly's illuminating smile and surprise lit up the room around her as the men got down on one knee and sang to her.

This wedding was truly a sight to see and thanks to an amazing crew it was perfect. The wedding was coordinated by Emily Smiley,  the vibrant flowers by were done by Karen Tran, a seamless and custom dance floor by Platinum Pro,  Darin Fong was the photographer, Blue Pearl handled the video and of course Entertainment At Large with thrilled to be the DJ.
Hi Mike - What an outstanding job you did at Kelly & Regan's wedding in March! You provided us with such a good time - your music selection was right on, great dancing tunes...and Kelly exclaimed the same words. She says your "Top Gun" excerpt was the best part of the night - thanks so much!

Mr & Mrs Ott ~ September 3, 2010

The Lodge at Torrey Pines was a fantastic location for a perfect ceremony and celebration.

The beautiful couple chose to groove to Sam Cooke's "That's where it's at" for their 1st dance and the sweetness of the moment magnified their lovely union to the entire room....it was a moment everyone will savor for ever.

Then the celebration kicked into full party gear where everyone boogied to upbeat hits like Blister In The Sun, Dynamite and the like!!

The entire evening was filled with such great memories, music and dancing that no one wanted to stop!!
